After Tropical Storm Erika struck the island and left a trail of devastation behind, J Astaphan & Co immediately mobilized over $58,000.00 of relief aid to the the Government of Dominica and then went on to rally its partners to provide more aid to the victims of the tropical storm with a value in excess of $250,000.00 combined committed.
Astaphans is a 100% locally-owned company and has a strong history of giving back to various communities in the country. Each year, the company donates approximately $200,000.00 in donations and services aimed at improving the lives of the citizens and boosting the economy.
“We are proud to be always there to assist when called upon by our Government or otherwise in times of crisis. We are grateful that we have the capability to have such an outreach to affect many lives in a positive and helpful way” said a recently released Company Statement.
“We are also proud to have an alliance with partners, who at our request, jumped in to assist in the relief aid without any hesitation. And so, we would like to make special mention of the said companies and thank them for joining in our effort to assist the Government to provide relief to those affected by this terrible storm” the statement continues.

To date, the company continues in its efforts to raise more funding for the relief efforts and is expecting more partners to join in the coming weeks.
